They are the candies that Peggy and I made yesterday. Take a guess, which is mine? When I asked Eric last night, without hesitation, Eric said the first one, counting from the left. So curious I was, further asking his reason. Since that one is the ugliest, still without hesitation, most of all without consideration. Admitting the third one is mime, I burst into laughter, meanwhile Peggy, feeling shameful, rushed into the bedroom, jumped onto the bed, almost crying. I told her, as I followed after her, facing criticism, she should learn to be open-minded (even though it is really hard for me, too).

On the day before yesterday, I was reminded by my mom of not forgetting to practice making candies for the Candy House. Not being able to knead a rough clay soft and smooth enough really irritated my mom. “How come you could not knead a rough clay soft and smooth enough in a short period of time, especially after you have been in the clay class for two years?” She was nagging at, whenever it was she (of course, mainly me) that just put us in the similar dilemma.

The response “because the clay dough is too dry (sometimes too oily),” is always on the list of my excuses. A quick-tempered person, Mom always keep me restless as if I were sitting on pins and needles. But, as times have gone by, I come to know that If you put a quick-tempered person waiting too long time, you have to face the consequences of being either nagged at or getting irritated too.

They are, as you can see in the picture, the candies that my mom and I made yesterday. Take a guess, which is mine? When Mom asked Eric (my brother) last night, without hesitation, Eric said the first one, counting from the left. So curious my mom was, further asking his reason. Since that one is the ugliest, still without hesitation, most of all without consideration. Admitting the third one is hers, my mom burst into laughter, meanwhile, it is I that, feeling shameful, rushed into the bedroom, jumped onto the bed, almost crying. I was told, as I was followed by my mom, facing criticism,I should learn to be open-minded.
