　　孩子用過早餐，擔任校慶盃裁判之前，繼續在速食店裡製作新社花毯節旅遊小書。

孩子首次擔任助理裁判，新鮮感十足。

    Daddy was occupied in the parent-teacher conference, we only cancelled a very important Go game to which kids were looking forward for a long time, Rong-San Cup Go Tournament（榮三盃）. Since 2006 (the year when Peggy was born) this tournament has been a big event in November every year.

為了方便拍照，我也和孩子一同穿上「賴厝圍棋社」的背心。

    But, luckily, kids were invited and given a great opportunity to be a one-day Go referee for go players in Lai Cuo Elementary School. To celebrate its anniversary, Lai Cuo hold an Anniversary Cup Go Tournament. At first, Eric and Peggy didn’t get into the swing of things because they could not follow the instruction from Mr. Zhou, who was responsible for this go game.

首次擔任助理裁判的孩子目前勝任愉快。當有選手提出疑問，孩子都能迎刃而解！

    With detailed explanation and comprehensive guidance, the more kids rehearsed, the better they did their job. Not only did they have to lead go players to their seats according to their id cards, Eric and Peggy should also keep alert all the time in order to give their helping hands to whoever needed help, such as territory calculation or reminder of following the rule.

      I was pleased that a half-day non-stop buzzing between tables made kids realize that, being a go referee is not an easy task as they think before.

　　因著先生學校的班親會湊巧在周六舉行，使得原本安排在今天的圍棋比賽榮三盃被迫無法成行，不過孩子卻也因禍得福，有幸參與在賴厝國小舉辦的第三屆校慶盃圍棋比賽，擔任助理裁判的工作。起先，由於孩子無法完全跟上周老師指派任務的速度，舉止彷彿無頭蒼蠅般，顯得毫無頭緒。經過自己對孩子詳細與明確的解釋且演練幾次之後，逐漸進入佳境的孩子，面目表情也看起來舒緩許多。

　　導引所有的參賽棋手入座，便堂堂進入今天的圍棋賽事。比賽進行間，孩子更沒能閒著，這時也是此行來的目的，協助裁判為下完棋的棋手點控。兩個孩子從最初的生疏到能神色自若地為每個需要協助的棋手服務，不僅看上去容光煥發，也讓滿懷信心的他們成為矚目的焦點。最棒的是，一個早上四場的比賽，孩子體驗了擔任一名裁判其中不為人知的辛勞。期間，孩子苦喊著雙腿酸麻，好想找張椅子坐定休息。也不時見孩子奔回休息區，急忙從書包邊抽出水壼，灌水解渴，再俐落地插入水壼，馬上返回工作崗位，在喧鬧聲中繼續巡視，尋找需要協助的人。

　　返家的路上，讓孩子分享今天擔任助理裁判的心得。冕抱怨著，可惜沒有裁判費。我問，你覺得依你今天的表現你應得多少。大概二百元吧？！冕這麼回答。嗯，合理。不過，換個方向思考，今天獲取擔任助理裁判經驗你不覺得就價值二百元，也許更多呢？！

卸下裁判職責之後，與開完班親會的外子一起在「食為大」品嘗馬支鹹魚雞粒炒飯和牛肉河粉。
