    In English class, after being loaded with the grammatical rule of using Do or Does to make a question in the present simple tense, kids are asked to make a story by using the present simple tense first, later on or tomorrow they will make those sentences in their stories questions.

 

    In order to strengthen the basic concept of present simple tense and then to extend to the knowledge of making affirmative present simple sentences into questions, I referred to Woodward English.

    When they got more familiar with the ideas after some practices, I asked Eric and Peggy to make their own stories by using present simple tense first and then make them (the story) questions next class.
